CommitteesThe Education Committee oversees all educational courses, seminars and programs offered by the Association. The Committee identifies training needs, develops curriculum and aids in identifying course speakers. The Committee works in cooperation with other NASSPA committees to identify the need or opportunity for education or other training activity.
The Marketing Committee is charged with developing industry marketing programs to increase the use of hot-rolled steel sheet piling systems. The committee identifies promotion opportunities to achieve favorable opinions and attitudes toward the use of member-manufactured products by specifiers, architects, engineers, installers, and end-users. The committee oversees the development of case studies, communications through websites, participation at tradeshows, commissions market studies and customer surveys, and other promotional activities.
The Technical Committee is responsible for developing and implementing the technical activities of the association related to the use of steel sheet piling. The committee takes a leadership role in overseeing research, developing technical positions on design methodology, codes and standards and developing technical publications and resources as needed to advance steel sheet piling technology. |
